Welcome to the Central Montana Astronomy Society Website.

Our Mission

The Central Montana Astronomy Society provides a place for local amateur star gazers to exchange ideas and techniques and to provide a fellowship atmosphere where people share a common interest of the cosmos.  We are organized for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, including the promotion of the study of astronomy though instruction, lectures, public viewing, and astronomical conventions.

The next meeting will be September 8, 2010 at 6:00 PM in room SC201 (South Campus) Great Falls High

The next star observing party will be September 17, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 10PM.  The session will be held in the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center parking lot.
